Sweat Adapter, Lead Free, 1/2 Brass Pex Barb X 1/2 In. Female

SharkBite Lead-Free Sweat Adapter makes a sweat transition from copper pipe to PEX tubing, connecting with stainless steel cinch clamps and a cinch tool (TV# 608743). It meets ASTM F-876, ASTM F-877 to SDR-9 dimensional standards, NSF 14 & 61 for use in potable water systems, CSA B137.5 standards, and NSF CL-R certified for use in hot water systems where chlorinated 140 degrees Fahrenheit hot water can be constantly re-circulated. The wetted surface of this product contacted by consumable water contains less than 1/4 of 1 percent, 0.25%, of lead by weight, meeting AB1953 California & VT S152 Vermont low lead restrictions. Made of lead-free DZR brass, this adapter offers an easy and cost-effective solution for connecting to PEX tubing. It allows for connection with either a stainless steel clamp system or a copper crimp ring system on one side, while the other side features a female sweat connection that can be soldered.
