#5 Pipe Thread Sealant, 1.75-oz.

RectorSeal No 5 Pipe Thread Sealant, a soft-set, slow drying compound that seals, lubricates, and protects threaded pipe and fittings. It is CSA Certified, NSF/ANSI 61-G/372 Specified, IAPMO 1282 Listed, UL/ULC Listed, and UPC File No. 1282 Certified. This yellow paste has a viscosity of 40,000 cPs, a flash point of 150 degree F, a boiling point of 322 degree F, a flammability rating of 2, and a temperature rating of -40 to 125 degree F. Applicable to aluminum, brass, copper, and galvanized steel, it can be pressurized immediately for piping up through 2 inch and 100 psi (for natural gas, air, and water only). Recommended for use on threaded galvanized steel, iron, brass, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, polyethylene, fiberglass reinforced, and PVC pipe.
